I live halfway around the world and dream of their candied salmon, crab chowder, and garlic bread. Having been fortunate enough to dine at a number of Michelin-starred restaurants, my meal at Novelli’s was one of the best meals of my life. Make sure to get there early before they sell out for the day. Look for the crab flag!
Delicious crab chowder and garlic bread. This is a small simple shack on the docks. Yes, a little hard to find. You have to go through the gates and down on to the docks. It is a small restauraunt, with takeout foods or you can eat at the small outdoor counter or at a few tables on the dock. The crab chowder is delicious. It is rich, lots of herbs. Delicious flavor. We enjoyed it. The hot garlic bread to go with it is great. We enjoyed chatting with the other patrons outside too. A wonderful little place to visit when the weather is nice.

This is a great place to have some fresh crab in a very casual spot. You can get crab and or chowder for take away or eat at one of the benches. To get there you walk into the boat docks, there is another restaurant in the same area so don't mix them up
Always a go to if you're in Florence! Be sure to check their Facebook page to ensure they are open though. I have seen lots of harbors seals while eating her which is a treat!
Just passing by this gem and OMG the best crab chowder my husband and I have ever had. The garlic bread I can’t even describe but it’s an absolute must get! EXTREMELY KID FRIENDLY. Owner was nice and the guy that helped us was so incredibly kind to our kids and nephews! He pulled out some of the crabs to hold and touch. Our kids were captivated! Amazing service great food overall awesome experience.
The restaurant is a small hole in the wall shack on the docks, we tried the crab chowder and garlic bread and it was amazing. The chowder had great flavor and the garlic bread was delicious. There is no indoor seating but there are outdoor tables on the dock with beautiful views of the river. I would definitely recommend
